It started right where it belonged.
Founded by Maxim on his own beach, Collins Cojones was the very first Collins sports team. No matter how busy life got, Maxim always made time to be there, motivating the team and leading by example. And yes, he was one of the strongest players on the sand.
From the start, it stood out.
The creation of Collins Cojones marked the birth of one of Belgium’s youngest pétanque clubs. A motivated group brought together by sportsmanship, team spirit, and healthy competition. The foundations behind its strong performances season after season.
The rhythm follows the seasons.
Summer means weekly training sessions on the beach at Collins Beach in Het Zoute, followed by competition matches Sunday after Sunday against other beach bars. Sun, sea, focus, and fun, all in equal measure..
The bond doesn’t stop in winter.
To keep the spirit alive, the team gathers during the colder months at the indoor Knokke Petanque Boulodrome, where the same camaraderie carries on beyond the sand.
This is pétanque the Collins way.
Barefoot games by the sea, a Ricard or a fresh beer within reach, surrounded by good people. Everyone is welcome, women and men alike, to step in, try their luck, and discover their talent. The club is run by the non-profit Collins Cojones, with Victor at the helm.
