It started as an idea between friends.
A shared vision by Maxim and his friend Ralph Bourgoo. Not of another event, but of a feeling. They didn’t even have a name for it yet. Just a clear sense of what it should be. An open-air gathering. Under real skies.
After Maxim’s passing, the vision remained. It needed a name — something that carried light and meaning. Victor chose Zonnebloem, inspired by Maxim’s favourite flower: the sunflower. Always turned toward the sun. Always reaching for light.
Zonnebloem isn’t about spectacle, it’s about presence. About creating space where music feels honest and the crowd feels united. One day. One place. One shared pulse.
The first edition took place in the summer of 2024. No big stages. No VIP nonsense. No polished façade. Just raw energy. Beats that hit hard. People who get it. Dirt under your shoes, sun on your skin, trees all around.
